Moist Turkey Burgers

These turkey burgers are a healthier alternative to regular beef burgers because they are juicy and tasty. They are great for a quick and filling meal because they are full of flavor from Parmesan cheese, fresh herbs, and seasonings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Red onion slices
  • Ketchup and mustard, for serving

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, Parmesan cheese, parsley, milk, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper

Mix the ingredients until well combined, but avoid overmixing to keep the burgers moist

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties

Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat

Cook the turkey burgers for about 5-6 minutes per side or until they are cooked through and have an internal temperature of 165F 75C

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are lightly browned

Assemble your turkey burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a turkey patty, a slice of tomato, and red onion slices

Add ketchup and mustard as desired, then top with the other half of the bun

Serve your moist and delicious turkey burgers immediately with your favorite side dishes
